Compact with connections for wall and car. Great value.
It is light weight and the wall unit works. We haven't tried to plug in for the vehicle yet. I had difficulty with the plug in to the smart phone; however, my husband was able to connect it. Slower Charger Than Factory Charger, This Charger Is 25% Slower When Compared With The Factory Supplied Charger.
This charger would never go into the Samsung Adaptive Fast Charging Mode like my factory charger does. When the battery is hungry for power the factory charger would go into the Samsung Adaptive Fast Charging Mode and supply over 10 watt hours of power at 5.4vdc while this new charger would only supply a max of 8 watt hours of power at about 5.2vdc. This means that if the factory charge can fully charge the original 2800mAh, or 10.87 watt hour battery in 1.3 hours it would take this new charger about 1.6 hours to charge the same battery. It is also obvious that when comparing the new charger with my original factory charger that it must be made differently inside because it is considerably lighter. The factory charger weighs 38.7g while the new charger weighs in at 31.2g. Is this genuine Samsung, I don't think so??? I can say that the cable that came with this new charger worked very well with my factory charger and allowed it to charge the phone with full power. The longer length of this cable did make it convenient to use and charge the phone while it was plugged into the charger.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Neither of the wall units put out the 2 amp rating, closer to 1 amp. Took five hours to charge the phone. The original took 1 hour.
The wall units do not put out the 2 amp rating. The phone discharges when running an app while charging. The original charger from Samsung has the same rating but it will charge the battery while running multiple apps. The car charger started off great with a rating of 3.1 amps and would charge the phone in just under an hour but now, after two weeks, it takes 2 hours to charge the battery and when running an app ( Google Maps) the phone will not charge. The current out of the car charger has suddenly dropped to 1.83 amps from the original 3.1 amps. These products are junk and I hope all of you out there don't buy them. They are nothing but trouble.
