I can't rate the quality, effectiveness, efficiency of this product specifically since I am unable to assess a measurable difference as a result of taking this supplement. I can say that this supplement is small which gives it a favorable, easy to swallow product feature. The cost of this supplement is higher than average daily vitamin or generic brand. I swear by it.
I began using Astaxanthin a few years ago based on an article I read. I used to struggle with lots of neck pain. The article stated that it takes around 8 weeks for any benefits to be realized. I swear by it now. The neck pain rarely occurs. There are also other benefits, such as skin tone. 12mg per day, and only use Bioastin. I tried other less expensive brands and the pain returned. I LOVE NUTREX BIOASTIN, HAWIIAN ASTAXANTHIN.
For me, it has more than lived up to the benefits touted in the product descriptions and I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS ASTAXANTHIN PRODUCT FROM NUTREX. I pray that this product will soon be researched as an effective deterrent to some of the side effects of radiation and chemo therapies because I'm absolutely convinced that it helped minimize radiation burns and some of the side effects of the chemo for me although I did lose my hair but my vision continued to improve. I am out of the tri-focals and doing great with 125 Readers. Has taken about 3 years of THIS Astaxanthin augmented with 40mg Lutien daily but I'm finally free of the tri-focals. I didn't have to undergo surgery and no more expensive glasses! Optometrist is amazed! I love being able to amaze doctors and, so far, I'm 3 for 3 and I attribute it primarily to the BioAstin Hawiian Astaxanthin from Nutrex! Not enough can be said about the value of this, the strongest antioxidant available. I only use astaxanthin produced in Hawaii after researching the nutrient and company's production methods in depth. It's the only nutrient I use that presents so overtly on what it says it will do. Have been using this same product and brand about six months, purchasing it thru amazon. This is within pennies of the same price, but I don't have purchase 2 to get free shipping now. The arthritis in my hips allows me to sleep at night with the use of this product. I know it is doing lots of other good things in my body that I can't feel. I gave this supplement a 5 star because of the quality of it easy to swallow taken with my other eye supplement. Its to early to tell if its helping but I do believe it will because its Hawaiian Astaxathin. I also like the Hawaiian Spirulina supplement both are good for you body and eyes. The best for eyecare!
I have been taking these for only 3 months and I used to have 'floaters' in my eyes. Now they are barely there.
