I have had jumper cables before but none compared to these. They are truly top of the line. The metal is so thick and the case is really heavy duty. I will definitely be getting more for my kids. These would make a great gift as well. I honestly would recommend these cables to everyone, there is nothing cheap about them and I’m so happy that I got them since mine went MIA. cheap China quality, lightweight with poor quality..
Transfers amps like it should, clamps are good but coating is cheap not chrome plated, rusts when first got wet...Wire coating is soft plastic, questionable how long that will hold up = cost is fair but not as cheap as the China quality...Not a robust product, will probably suit if kept out of the weather and used spairingly...I am a spoiled user of better products, good rubber wire coating-insulation and chrome plated clamps...Many are not pleased with China quality, however some of their products are of good quality...This product is not one of the good products...I think that China made needs to be stated in the sales speech..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good quality jumper cables. To answer the question about copper wires.....
I keep seeing the reviews on "are they copper or aluminum wires?" with different answers. Well they are copper clad (coated) aluminum wires. The clamps are rust resistant plated steel, very strong springs, with copper teeth. I would give the clamps a 5 star review. The wires are heavy gauge, very flexible and the single strands are very fine (fine wires are more flexible and last longer), so even with them being copper clad aluminum I would give them 4+ stars. I think they would last a long time with constant use. I, like most others would prefer 100% copper wires, but for the price that would cost considerably more. I think these are very good quality and should last a long time. If my picture comes out clear enough, you can see the wires are copper, but the very inside of each strand has a silver look. Hard to see without a magnifying glass.

I Love these. If a person has Bad hand Arthritis, they may have problems squeezing the clamps (they Do sell these with 'weaker,' standard clamps, that get rusty over time ) Looks like great quality. Conneting jaws, inside clamps, Are made of solid, nonrusting Copper! Definitely Better than the 4 - 8 gauge ones you will find uptown, with the 'plated' clamp jaws, and at a Better price also! I bought these because I needed some cables to go from my trailer winch to the truck battery. After looking at wire I found these were much cheaper. The clamps are of above average quality. The wire is a true 2 guage if not slightly larger. That part really suprized me. I cut the to install quick disconnect plugs at one end.
