2 packs of G5 Montec 100GR Broadheads.
The first thing I noticed when I took them out of the package is they are not sharp. They would not shave hair off my arm! If it won't shave hair, it's not sharp enough to hunt with. I tried the G5 flat diamond stone to sharpen them, but only the top two thirds were being sharpened. I thought that strange because I saw one being used and it worked beautifully. Then I tried them in my arrows. four out of the six wobbled so bad I didn't even try to shoot them. the ones that didn't wobble flew no where my field points flew, they were all over the target, no consistency. I called G5 and spoke with Tech Assist. They told me , as does their web site every broadhead is spin tested to be true and cnc machined so it should have been true on the Flat diamond Stone. He went on to tell me that a large quantity og the G5 Montec Broadheads being sold online and at discounted prices are counterfeit. The packaging and product look identical. he feels that that is what I may have gotten on Ebay. I bought another package of three from a local archery shop and they are all perfect. BUYER BEWARE!!!! If you can get for half the price off real G5 go for it. If you are going to buy for around full price go to an authorized Montec seller for sharp heads. I read other reviewers experiences with these broad heads, and figured I'd take a chance. Well, I got the heads fast but I don't think they are the same ones being sold by authorized sellers because these are dull and not sharp like the ones at the archery store. So far I've just opened them, I will try sharpening them up and see how they hold up along seeing if they will tune. There isn't much for them to be messed with as they are one piece so hopefully they will fly well. One thing that buying copied products, even if bought from same people who make the item for a US company, is that price is cut in places and I hope it was only in the sharpening.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I purchased these broadheads for my son who will join me with a crossbow in the 2022 hunting season. I used the Montec G5's in the 2021 hunting season... made 2 shots and took 2 deer. At 390 fps the bolt & broadhead blew through both deer severing rib bones and tearing into the rocky dirt. Both broadheads were recovered completely intact and no blades were bent. A quick pass over a sharpening stone and they are ready to go again. The deer reacted like they didn't know what had happened... they simply moved about 20 yards, looked around, and then laid down. My shots were as accurate as using practice tips and the one piece design performed exactly as advertised. I have only lost 1 of these due to the arrow not passing through and the deer losing it while running away. Have not experienced damage to the broadhead itself, but maybe I didn't hit solid bone. They are easy to sharpen with 400 grit sand paper on a flat surface while gripping the vertical blade. And they look cool with the skeletonized structure. The Chinese copies don't appear to be as sturdy. Too bad Montech doesn't make them any more, but I have a good supply now.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

These are definitely a G5 Montec broadhead knockoffs. The sizing and dimensions is a little wider and they are very dull. They were sharpened completely different than original Montec broadheads.
