This traditional concert uke takes its design from traditional Hawaiian body ornamentation. Those designs were monochromatic, tattooed in black against brown skin, with strongly geometric patterns, and many shapes and symbols inspired by the natural island world: stones, waves, fish, sharks, turtles, rain, sun, birds. The design is primarily based on waves and sharks teeth which are also echoed as fret markers. This electric model adds the advantage of an onboard preamp.Includes gig bag.

Great sound and very good quality.
This really is a very nice Uke for the money. We run ours through a little Blackstar Fly amp around the house which produces exceptional sound for a battery-powered amp (we plug ours in with the adapter). DO NOT try to run this Uke through a regular electric guitar amp. You will not get the actual sound of the Uke. If you have a bass amp it will work fairly well but your best bet is an amp that is specifically designed for an acoustic instrument.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
