Good Buy.
I had been leery of buying a refurbished unit for some time. Finally bit the bullet and couldn’t be more pleased. Put the bar and chain on, put gas and bar oil in, and it ran smooth and well. Ran it for about an hour with no issues. If i had a complaint it was that the chain didn’t seem brand new super sharp, but still cut well. Warranty says it all
I purchased a 450 rancher as a land owner and tough on equipment guy ! Husqvarna is go to chainsaw I picked 455 power to weight ratio for me! Stuff under 18 in and clearing fence rows and tough hedge brush . I use my stuff . Warranty 2 years can any others match it ? Bada $$
I could almost say it was new... this thing fired right up after 50:1 gas and bar oil...very happy...runs perfectly and I am at 6500 ft...probably could use a tune for this altitude but runs really great right out of the box...two bolts and line up chain...I was cutting wood in 30 min...I broke mine in with a 20min warn up...just because it looked so new...

455 Rancher
Chainsaw was in good condition with just a few minor cosmetic scuffs. This one needed the carb adjusted for best results. After adjusting the low jet and high jet along with the idle the saw ran like a champ. I used a tachometer to help with carb adjustments. I suggest to know how to do this or have someone else who does so the saw runs as it should. Best to use fuel with no ethanol however if ethanol blended fuel is used a fuel stabilizer designed for ethanol will help keep the fuel from absorbing water which is hard on engines. All in all a very good deal considering the reduced cost of $200 vs a new 455 Rancher.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

New saw at used price.
I recieved this saw in record time and could not be happier. It looks and performs like a brand new saw. It started on the third pull and flew through a 28 inch ash like it was soft wood. Good Purchase Overall
Overall I am satisfied with the product, I do have a couple small complaints. These are suppose to be fully evaluated and checked prior to shipping, and mine was obviously fueled up and operated (including several scratches on labels and covers). My complaint is that the idle was set so low that I couldn't keep it running without constant throttle pressure, not a big thing as it run fine now that I have adjusted the idle. The other small complaint is that it did not come with a bar cover, problem solved for $10 on Amazon.Verified purchase: Yes

455 Refurbished Rancher
2nd Husky refurb I have purchased off EBay. 445e purchased in 2016 still works but tougher conditions on our property demanded a larger saw. Great price on this one. I was able to skip the 450 and grab a 455. It’s got the larger chain set at 3/8 (.385) versus the .325. Wider bar with double nut attachment. Heavier overall with one full extra horsepower. 20 inch bar standard on this model. Certainly has more guts than the 445. Starts fairly easy without any idle adjustments on carb. Hopefully will receive the same reliable service as the 445. Also purchased the hard case so it won’t get so beat up in the back of the truck.
