  • PDU is great, network card is finicky

The PDU itself is good, i have a few of these. Switches power supply, just need like 20 second delay before switching back - or it resets and all the loads reset too. The network card (SNMP web card) has buggy software. It can get locked out - you can't connect, in which case the only way to get it back is doing something to it via console cable. Pressing reset button doesn't reset it. Google the firmware upgrade, the instructions are in the zip. I haven't tried it myself, i just replaced the card with the working one. But if it works, it can do many things like switching on/off the loads, SNMP, configuration, etc. Obviously you can nowadays only connect to it via ssh or telnet. For http it uses java plugin (yikes)
