Questioned the side bar stabilllity.
The side bar that guides the fabric under the needle seemed a little wobbly. That being said, I measured the seam after a 20 inch test run and it was indeed one fourth inch. Still the bar is thin and could potentially bend with the push of the fabric as it passes. Should, I think, be used with that in mind.

It is not 1/4 inch. It measures between 5/8-1/2 inch. Not accurate if that is why you are buying.
