Tough 1 mounting aid
In theory this item should be helpful to a rider; however I found it was not helpful at all. Since it hangs from the saddle horn, it is free moving and can cause a rider's foot to swing under the horse which in turn causes more pull on the saddle and can cause it to slide, not a good thing to say the least! My horse is not overly tall and I am not overweight so these weren't factors. The item is made with sturdy materials and that's the only positive I have.

Modify to fit Jeep
I ordered this to use this on my lifted Jeep so my wife can get into it. Had to modify and make bracket to hang out door and when she gets in just lift it inside. Can be use for either side. Works great.

Great stirrup for using in my Jeep
I love horses, but I don't ride! I bought this for my Jeep, I wrapped it around the drivers seat frame and use it to get up into my Jeep. I don't always need to use this, but if I do it's right there ready to go.
