Took about 3 hours total from start to finish and the speakers sound as good as when they were brand new! Might even sound little better since the cone is tighter with the newer surround? Perfect fit
Perfect fit and easy to install. I diverted from the installation instructions video and chose to install on the underside of the cone. I slipped the tip in between the cone and foam and ran a bead of glue, waiting a few minutes for it to tack up then worked my way around the edge pressing it into place. When finished I rand a small beed on the top seam to lock it into place. It shrank as well and looks perfect. Then finish the rest of the adhesive on the flange and trim ring. SO GLAD these exist and much better than replacing. Forgot to take pictures 😞.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works great, but hard to install on these speakers
For the 86160-AF070 speakers the foam rings need to adhere to the underside of the cones. So installation is more difficult that those designs where the foam ring adheres to the top surface. But with patience it can be done. Be aware the glue dries rather quickly. For this installation I glued about 1/2 the area then attached the foam to the cone.
