It does the job and easy to install
We have a double wide mobile home. My husband got some feedback from a Lowe's salesman who told him to install the lint trap low to the floor so that the filtered air could push easily to the outside. Functional, simple, effective
You think the lint trap in your dryer works well, but it's letting a lot of lint through. If your machine immediately vents to the outside, that may be ok. But my dryer vent pipe runs 25 feet through the floor to reach the outside. Lint accumulated in the vent pipe reduced the dryer's effectiveness, caused condensation to pond, and allowed mold to grow. What a mess! I thoroughly cleaned the vent pipe and installed the ProClean Trap. Problem is now solved. It's amazing how much additional lint the Trap catches. The design works well. Unit is easy to install in the flexible dryer vent and easy to mount on the wall where the clear door allows you to see lint accumulating and to easily access the screen so you can empty it frequently.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This lint trap seem to be working as described it does a great job of capturing the lint that is not caught un the dryer section. Materials it made with seem ok. I took a chance and It's good

Works great!
At first glance I was concerned about the clear door being fragile, so I removed it during installation. I also tightened the mounting screws a half of turn loose in order to minimize the stress to the plastic. It was easy to install and once installed it doesn't seem so fragile. I did a load of towels to see how the lint trap works. It works great! It trapped any lint that got past the main dryer lint trap. When I checked the outside deck where lint would end up near the outside vent, I saw no lint. Hooray, It works. Catches a suprising amount of addintional lint
I ordered this primarily to use as a hatch to easily clean out the inside of a dryer vent duct. It does that job nicely. It also catches a lot of lint that the dryers internal lint catcher does not catch. So make sure you place this near the dryer and where it is easily accessible for cleaning between every dryer load just as you would the internal dryer vent trap.
