Cheap hard plastic, not like the flexible more rubber like lid I had with this and in the past
failed to mention in description it does not fit an older 9 x 13 baking dish with extended glass lips on the ends. This lid will not fit over this type of pan. not worth the trouble of trying to return it. Just throw it away.

Beware. This will not fit a standard 9x13 pan with handles. If your pan has no handles and only straight sides, it might fit.
