Better than black pipe in our opinion.
We actually bought the black pipe for our gas line install (which my husband did) but after research I did in which I saw that every joint is a possible leak waiting to happen. (I'm VERY OCD actually diagnosed) Just so you know one reason why I research everything to he'll and back. We returned all of the pipe to Lowe's and bought this gas line. This reduced our leak possibilities to only 2 points and I made positive sure we got the correct connections for. It has now been well over 1 year since the installation and all is well. Love cooking on gas (100# tank lasts forever) and our electric bill went down some as we broil or bake dinner almost every night. We are very pleased and would not hesitate to buy here again or to recommend this seller and product to anyone.
