I Love this fragance
It’s complexed, so many layers to this fragrance. The only thing is that it gives me a headache. It reminds me of when I just to pull pens apart and the smell of the ink, even back then gave me a headache. I should’ve known! No fault to Lalique or to Encre Noire Al’Extreme. like I said I love it, I just can wear it. I gift it to a friend that loves writing and has docena of inks. Not like the original but…

Intense to the point of being unwearable.
Imagine the original Encre Noir masterpiece, but condensed into 1/2 the amount of liquid and with a chemical-heavy opening and a scent longevity that is near eternal! That's A L'extreme. Much less wearable than the original. A single spray is enough to unleash a headache-inducing chemical odor that lasts for 15-20 minutes. 1 stiff of this stuff and you can still feel it in your nose an hour later! The original is smoky at first but has a wonderful drydown. This does not. Spare yourself and get the original or the sport (which IMO is a daily-able version of Encre Noir that's been lightened up a bit but still retains 75-80% of the original DNA)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
