terrible movie
very bad on historical accuracy. there were VERY FEW fat civil war soldiers. the scene where armed confederate soldiers were releasing union prisoners because the war was over made no sense- they would NOT have been armed because union soldiers would have been there 2 release their own soldiers. it was very obvious that the movie was trying to vilify confederate soldiers. 90 % of confederate soldiers DID NOT OWN SLAVES. they were expensive to buy, also Robert E Lee was one of the greatest general ever. even though he WAS wealthy he did not have any slaves because he considered slavery 2 b evil. also the opening battle was very fake- made the southern soldiers look inferior 2 the union troops
