Transform your car stereo into a multimedia audio player. The Pioneer DEH-150MP CD player/MP3 in-dash receiver packs the power of several media devices in one. Take your favorite tunes wherever you go, whether you listen to music in CD, mp3, or WMA format. Get a classic car audio experience with a built-in radio tuner. An AUX input lets you connect external electronics to access additional media. The Pioneer DEH-150MP receiver includes disk list and CD text features, which display information about the disc and tracks on the receiver. The rotary volume control is easy to operate, and passengers in the back seat can control the volume or switch tracks with a remote control. This receiver features an LCD display with LED backlighting. The built-in MOSFET 50 W amplifier boosts the sound signal and feeds it through your speakers. Pioneer DEH-150MP stereo amplifiers offers lots of control for your vehicle’s speakers. The model includes a built-in amplifier, RCA preouts, and an equalizer to help you make the most of your sound, even in a small space. A digital/analog converter transforms the digital signals from mp3 and CD tracks into rich analog sounds. Bring out the bass in your speakers and control subwoofers with bass boost and subwoofer control features. Add extra depth with a three-mode loudness control. If you prefer to keep distractions at bay while you drive, passengers can use an adapter to plug headphones into the device’s RCA output.The Pioneer DEH-150MP head unit connects to your car using a full DIN connection, which is compatible with most vehicle models. The faceplate is removable, which provides security while you park your vehicle as the rest of the unit cannot operate without the faceplate. You can combine your Pioneer DEH-150MP receiver with a variety of accessories. You can plug subwoofers into the RCA output or use an adapter to play music through headphones. These receivers are compatible with a number of steering wheel remote accessories, letting you change tracks or control volume without taking your hands off the wheel. The Pioneer DEH-150MP car audio player lets you access music and audio in CD, radio, and digital file form. However, you can also use the AUX connection to playback tracks stored on external electronics. Although this receiver does not include a Bluetooth or USB connection, you can use an AUX cable to connect your smartphone, portable music player, or tablet and play your favorite albums and podcasts. You can also connect Internet-enabled devices to access additional types of content from streaming audio and video websites and play the audio through your vehicle’s speakers. Before connecting accessories to your car stereo, check compatibility in the user manual to ensure that they can work with the receiver. If you prefer to listen to the good old-fashioned radio, DEH-150MP receivers also include RDS to access broadcast data. JUST WHAT I WANTED
It's a real good unit. I like all the features and I gave EASE OF USE a yes but the real problem with this unit are the instructions.....the print is so small that with corrected 20/20 vision it's difficult to read so I just push buttons and figure it out. Can't turn it off
This particular unit came without a remote, which was clearly stated on EBay. Sadly, the remote must be required to turn off the radio because it cannot be shut off manually. My guess is the unit was a refurb and this is why it was returned. An on/off rocker switch was needed to be placed in-line to turn it off. I'm Back Up And Enjoying My Stereo Again!
What a really good deal for previous owners of a Pioneer car stereo system that has issues! The guts and brains of the system are what makes it all work, but of course you have to have the face plate that puts it all together. This item is just what I was looking or when my system bit the big one... Amp Error was the message, I think... Anyway, I truly was pleasantly surprised that this item fit my needs exactly and saved me money as well. I use my car stereo on my lanai (back porch for those who don't know what a lanai is) with a AC/DC converter so if I lose power, I can hook up a 12 Volt battery and still have tunes! Car stereos last better outside as I've tried home stereos outside with terrible results. They last about a month or two and start crackling and having issues...car stereos in an outside, but covered environment work for years! Works for what I wanted.
I used this to replace a faulty tuner/cd player from the 80's. This tuner is much more stable than my previous tuner, meaning that the signal does not cut out like it did on the old. The CD player has not yet scratched any of my CDs. The good: -FM/AM radio -CD player -Aux input(Not yet tested) -Standard single DIN size -Pre-out and amplified out (Meaning that it has its own amplifier but you can still use the non-amplified signal) The bad: -Installation part of manual is very vague -Can be bright -Will take some getting use to controls -Only single CD, no multi-disc Overall, I recommend this based on the price and quality of the product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Just in cased you didn't know, the remote is seperate, but if your like me and re using it in your mobile rv, then you don't want the clutter of another remote. I've always been a big fan of Pioneer stereos, since the 70's with the Super Tuner. I had the 150 in another vehicle and wanted to get another one. I didn't realize this one was an upgrade to the 2018 model, which is a big plus. Very happy with the stereo and the excellent service I received.
