  • Expensive - but for certain situations - Well worth it!

I have several 'rotting' exterior window sills on my rental property. It is very expensive to replace the wood with having to hire someone, plus buy the wood because the entire frame of the window has to come out to access the exterior sill, etc. - so I chose to purchase this product in order to re-face the rotted area. I had already purchased this product with the liquid epoxy, so was able to 'harden' the wood area with the product I already had - and then use this batch (ran out of the older batch) to fill in the rotted out areas on two window sills so far. Need to follow the directions and apply while the area is dry - which we did. Then sanded it down and it looks wonderful!!!! Have a couple of large picture windows at my other rental that have holes near the bottom of the frames. I had filled these holes with caulk. (Replacing these windows will run about $800 +). Although the caulk filled the area and kept it from rotting any more - it has a very rough surface, as it is difficult to smooth out. I'm planning on removing the caulk, using a large hole cutter to get rid of any caulk residue - brush it with the liquid epoxy - let that dry and then put in this wood epox. Can't wait - they'll look like new windows and won't show the rough surface like before. I also like this older style window - it keeps the original look of the home, which was built in about 1910. • Excellent Product To Be A Stable

Would not be without this product. Have used it to perform miracles. Dog has chewed corners of kitchen cabinets and I made new corners and sanded and painted (sometimes I built it up). Sometimes I have used it with the liquid epoxy depending on the project. Have filled termite damage in posts and windows in old historical homes, like new restored. So many uses cannot remember them all.

  • Easy to use with outstanding outcome

Watch any of the several videos out on how to use this product and then go to work. I used it to fix a partial rotted door jamb on my front entry. I works exactly as shown in the videos. I kneaded equal parts in my hands (wearing gloves--although some say you can do it bare handed) ending up with what felt like a light weight Play Dough. I pressed the "dough" into the cleaned out rotted areas. It seemed too light to do the work, but after drying, this stuff is hard and structurally sound. It sands easily and smoothly and after painting you would never know it's not the original wood surrounding the door. Couldn't be easier to use. I'm an older lady, with minimal "handy person" experience, and I had no problems fixing my door entryway. I highly recommend this product.
