EDV-4000 great alternative to a compressor type dehumidifier
The EDV-4000 quietly goes about its business removing moisture from the air. I have had to empty the 2 liter water tank 3 times a day during humid summer days. I have been using one in the basement for a year and just brought another one for the garage. Noise level is something similar to a pedestal fan on medium speed. It is lightweight and compact. Power draw is low and does not create heat like a compressor type dehumidifier does. I have had 3 compressor type dehumidifiers in the past and they were loud, clunky, obtrusive and would fail within 2 years.

It is quite and doing the job..Only problem was finding hose to fit for continual draining..Found out you have to purchase the correct size from EVA..In process of doing that now..Could use a larger water DISPOSAL congainer..
