Counted among Megatron's earliest followers, Soundwave perpetuates his role as Decepticon communication specialist by virtue of Mini-Cons which stealthily infiltrate the fortifications of Autobots and Decepticons alike, enabling Soundwave to provide Megatron with even the most secret or obscure information. Soundwave's sensors are sensitive to even the lowest radio transmissions, and his penchant for monitoring electrical brain impulses provides him with the equivalent of telepathy. Soundwave's predilections make him unpopular among his fellow Decepticons, mostly limiting his interactions to the company of his Cassette Warriors. A Great Masterpiece
This is a great collectors toy. The articulation on it is pretty good and it’s what you expect from a Masterpiece. MP-02 is the Hasbro release. It’s identical to the Takara version with only a few minor paint applications. The biggest difference is the Hasbro version of Soundwave has the yellow eyes. It’s an easy fix if you want the red eyes. Just unscrew the back of the head and remove the two eye pieces then paint red. His cassette mini-cons are really impressive. It’s really cool seeing something as flat as the cassettes turn into robots that have surprisingly good articulation being that small. I recommend it to any toy collector who loves Transformers. Even if you aren’t a fan of the character he is worth getting because of the simple but fun transformation. Great piece of art!
I did get a Takara Tomy but the tape seal on the bottom of the Takara box was removed but so I checked the item and everything was their and looks brand new.
