Works good for installing/removing nocks, just ok for turning them off
I have mixed feelings about this tool. Originally I used a small pocket knife to turn off the nocks and it worked fine. I wanted this tool but it was always close to 10 bucks which wasn't worth it. I found a deal finally and bought two of them. They work great for holding the nocks to install or remove, but doesn't seem as easy as just using a small knife. They do work okay. I don't even think this tool should be needed. It would be like having a gun scope that requires special tools to sight it in. They should have a target mode that doesn't light up during target practice and you should be able to use a field point to push a button, not a special tool. They should also have cheap practice nocks with the exact weight and dimensions so you don't have to ruin your hunting nocks during practice.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I bought this because it seemed like a good idea. It was fairly inexpensive and it does what Rage says it should do. Is it necessary? No. it does make them easier to turn off.
