Great balun for various dipoles
No complaints. It's larger and heavier than some baluns, but to handle the power it needs to be. It works great with my fanned dipole. I also use another one with my modified 40 dIpole (one leg as a wire, the other leg being a Hamstick).

Balance your Dipole
I replaced the coax on my 60 meter dipole and thought it would be good practice to replace the insulator with a balun. This balun worked perfectly showing VSWR of less than 1.05 and no trace of rf in the shack. Contacts made after installing were proof of proper operation. It is well designed to support the antenna and structurally strong enough to last forever.

I have made antennas from this kind of B...
I have made antennas from this kind of Balun before. I like to make dipoles with FlexWeave 14 wire with two legs 34 feet per side yielding a full 20 meter antenna. With a good antenna tuner one can tune 10 through 40 meters very nicely with this balun using my 68 foot 2 lengths of 34 feet.
