well worth it
This attachment doubles the utility of the Black Widow. Easy operation, and way less trouble than constantly removing and reinstalling the carrier. Also better than driving around with the carrier in horizontal position where it's liable to get smashed. Very solidly built and easy to use.

Put this on my aluminum cargo carrier as soon as I got it. Promptly loaded it down with 500 pounds in my driveway to test everything and it held up fine. Folds up and down easily. Can also adjust the level of the cargo carrier with the adjust bolt, but the bolt can dent the shaft on the carrier. Have not road tested yet but I don't see having any problems with this for many years to come. Wouldn't hesitate to order and use again.
