Weasel AAA+, acorns root hold AAA++
Works great as long as you do not let acorns get a root going, then the root will hold the acorn with more force than the Weasel has to pull them up. My fault for not ordering the Weasel earlier and then not attacking the acorns until I returned from a weeks vacation. A rake was not strong enough to force the acorns free either. The squirrels do not even look at the rooted acorns. I will know better for next years crop of acorns. Weasel size: SMALL. Picture shows the roots that grew in three weeks.

This picks up 30 to 40 caliber brass from a hard surface quite well. I would recommend that they package it before they ship it though. I was lucky it didn't get broken or scratched during shipment because it was not packaged. The shipping label was affixed to the product info tag. But the Weasel works well on range brass and after Christmas, we will try it on acorns, which I'm sure it will perform as advertised on them as well. Not for a large area
The cage is rather small. I have to push rather hard on it to collect the acorns. Removing acorns from the cage is time consuming. It might work better on grass. I need it for a dirt yard. It seem to be made well, and should be for the price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The Garden Weasel Small Nut Gatherer picks up acorns just fine. The downside is the handle is short and will leave your back hurting if you have a lot of acorns to pick up. The wire basket is small (about a half gallon) and will spit out acorns after it’s half full. Still, this item does what it’s designed to do.
