Model HR-75. Safe in all bird baths. Constructed of cast aluminum with a decorative colored finish to resemble a flat Rock. 75 Watt- costs pennies to operate.
The product is usable. It keeps the water from freezing.
I like the flat top so you can turn the basin upside down to get to the port to fill the basin with water.
There are, however, some obvious issues: the power cord is too short. It is only about 18-24 inches long. And one needs alot more cord to negotiate while turning the basin (white portion) upside down to fill with water. With this design, there should be handles on either side of the basin to be able to turn the basin upside down. This is extremely inconvenient. Makes for multiple steps: disconnect the power cord because it is too short, turn the fountain upside down, fill the basin through the port, then use alot of muscle and a tight grip on white basin to turn the fountain right side up, then reconnect the cord. Do all this while making sure the red bottom doesn't turn and come loose, spilling out all the water. Instead, they could have solved this problem by putting the port on top of the basin. Not sure their promo is "New Easy Fill Design" (on the product sticker) I am sure there is a good reason why the port is on the bottom of the bottom red round tray. But I can't figure that out the reason. I think the manufacturer should have thought it through from start to finish.
Works well until temp is -5F or so, but keeps water from freezing until those temps, so good.
Would be helpful to have a top fill-hole, so not to waste as much water, or awkward retrieval.
(Easier to simply refill, were it available)
