Kestrel - A Necessary Device for ELRP shooting
The main reason that I purchased this Kestrel was that I needed an updated device to sync with the Hornady 4DOF app. I can now use the app with access to updating environmental data.

Upgraded from my old Kestrel
The new generation with LINK is faster, and loads ALL my ballistics weather data needed for long range shooting automatically via Bluetooth. With my old version I had to input data by hand. With the weather vane this is now a real weather station that updates my StrelokPro ballistics calculator in REAL TIME. So when the wind changes or anything else relevant to long range shooting, my StrelokPro is on target. If your a long range shooter it's worth the the upgrade.
