DAYTON 1L706 Shaft Collar
I used it for an unintended purpose that required macining the bore. I found it soft enough to use a boring bar on the mini mill. I spaced the halves so after boring to 40mm they would clam on the drill press and be a replacement for the original plastic depth stop. I welded the tab for the stop from 1018 hot roll stock. It welds well. If you use it as intended it's good, but also good if you are short cutting for making a pat for another tool.
