It's 1/144 scale so the aircraft is small (only about 3" long), and it's very inexpensive. For 1/144 the details are good, not great. But for the price, it's an excellent value. With our American-centric view of WWII, we tend to forget that it was actually the Russian who beat Hitler, not us, and not the UK. (25 million Russians died in the war, whereas US & UK deaths combined totaled less than 1 million). Almost 10,000 La-5 were produced in WWII (not counting La-3 or La-7), which make it the second most important Soviet fighter after the Yak-9. Compared against about 15K mustangs, or 34K 109's. Zvezda makes good models (not great). But they are inexpensive, very tight when put together, and they address aircraft that you can't find anywhere else.
