Whirlpool designed this part to fail.
This genuine Whirlpool part is truly that. But Whirlpool poorly designed it. The little posts that slide into the slots of the rails are very fragile. If you apply any lateral pressure the little tab at the end of the post breaks off. Also, the clips that you need to push in to release the rack are very brittle. A little too much pressure applied and the clip breaks off. Whirlpool designed this part to fail. Look at how many have been sold.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
