  • Works well but cost is excessive!

I recently purchased a 60 year old home. While restoring, I have used Flex Seal caulking, spray paint and canned paint. All worked well , but will have to wait a good while to see how it holds up. Be careful to check the volume when you buy the canned paint. From the picture it is easy to assume you are getting more than you think. My favorite use has been filling in small concrete cracks. Buy a squirt bottle like ketchup comes in at a restaurant, pour the liquid paint in there and then squirt into crack. It is thin enough for gravity to pull it down into the crack. I continue to find uses and keep buying it, but I cringe at the cost every time. KNOW THIS! You cannot paint over it. Paint will not stick to it!

  • Great Job In Water-proofing Cinder Block

I used it to water-proof garage floor-level cinder block and the grey color is what I needed. It was easy to brush on and it really looks good.

  • untried

I live in the keys..there is a lot of coral rock in the water and shoreline..just painted the bottom of my new inflatable boat with several coats of flex seal..the company said that they are not aware of this being tried before..so far i am happy with the results..it it is a bit pricy but if saves a boat repair/replacement it is worth it..les cross marathon fl

  • It works

I have an old galvanized watering can with internal rust spots that I wanted to use as a watering can and not a prop. 2 coats of gray paint on the interior over a lightly abraded surface and the can is now back to work, the rust protected from the elements. Going to do the same painting inside a watering can nozzle since it is painted steel .

  • A good solution to specific types of problems.

Bought this to patch a leaking cement fountain where epoxies had failed. Coated the entire inside of the fountain with this, thickly, and it worked great. Looks pretty smooth when dry, flowed into the cracks. Solved my problem.

  • Dries Fast Goes on Well by brush.

This product brushes on easily and smooth. I used it to seal the small wooden area between my shed base and the metal. It dried in less than 48 hours and the gray color blended in well with the shed colors. I am happy I purchased this product and definitely recommend it for a good seal..yeah no more leaks.

  • Its Flex Seal

The name speaks for itself. Like all the others in the Flex Seal line, a good product from day one. If applied correctly it does whats on the label. I used it on an AC condensate tray to protecting outdoor garden markers. The patch is the only thing I have not tried, but if I get a leak in the roof or the boat I wish I had I'll give it a try.

  • Great stuff...

Dries fast, great stuff.. If filling cracks it's probably better getting the one for a caulk gun.. I put some in a big syringe that pushes the flex seal out, and it filled the cracks nicely..Small cracks you can just brush it on. Will buy more for future jobs.. not sure how long it will stay liquid in the can..

  • Excellent product

The only drawback. Had was the lid has to go back on tightly and the excess has to be cleaned from the rim of the can and replaced tightly or it will dry up the remainder of the produce which will be of no use.
