One little gear
Bought the Sharper Image DX-4 with one motor not working. It was in excellent condition cosmetically and as advertised after powering it up sure enough one prop wasn't spinning. I had a replacement motor so I began the process of dismantling to replace the motor. While removing the motor something fell on the floor. It was the gear on the motor shaft. It was late and I was exhausted from the day so I decided to continue the repair the next day. The next morning while laying there in bed trying to wake up it dawned on me that the gear that fell off should not have been loose. So I said to myself maybe the loose gear was the whole problem. So I looked through my box of spare parts, found a replacement gear and to my surprise that fixed the problem. Apparently the gear stripped from the shaft after a typical crash which happens to all of us drone geeks. Lesson learned. Don't assume that the motors are bad simply because the prop doesn't spin.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Starter choice for cinematography
Very easy to set up. If you have never flown a drone it will take some time to get used to the controls but one you do, it's easy and enjoyable to fly and record some great aerial videos/photos.
