Start Off Right
Aside from using the traditional pheasant feather to dry the upper portion of the oboe, this is the ONLY solution. Anything else will be too large to travel the upper stack. If you use some of the suggested brushes, they WILL become stuck and require yet another tool to extract it. That, in turn, may create gouges in the instrument which will lead to cracking. Start off right. Buy this silk oboe swab. It's what the professionals use.
