Birds Only!
At first glance, Safflower seeds seem rather expensive. But if you wish to feed BIRDS from your bird feeders and not squirrels, the price is right! Squirrels can consume a great deal of Sunflower seed, particularly if you have more than one of the pesky critters! I am fond of Cardinals, who prefer to feed on the ground, so a Squirrel resistant feeder does not solve the problem. I can broadcast this seed all over my backyard and relax while watching my feathered friends dine in peace!
