They did what I needed from them.
These installed and worked pretty good. They work with slim 1911's and would open far enough for 45 cal revolvers too. They are a little large if trying to store a small pocket .380 or such though. If installing on a safe door with metal behind the carpeted drywall, I used #8 metal screws and pre drilled the holes. Make sure the screws are just barely long enough to reach through the metal plate so they will not affect the latching mechanisms. My only complaint/request is that they would be made available in 3 holster wide models. Actually I have a small safe that could use a single holster model also. I actually added another double holster below the ones after the picture was taken.

double holster vs single
This one is double, the other ones I bought were single. The other ones from Acorn are also velcro and work good, these you had to either screw in or put on your own velcro. We did have some velcro so made it work. they are okay but liked the other ones we have much better.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
