Smoker sensation
This smoker, as compared to our older 4-rack, is marvelous. With the digital controls it is much easier to control the temperature so you get a good smoke. Directions are simple to follow. Just finished one batch of Chinook and will do another batch soon. Would recommend this for anyone with smoking to do, whether you use all racks or not.. Not for cold weather.
I live in Michigan. And I am really disappointed in this smoker in colder temperatures. If you want to smoke below 40F I wouldn't recommend this smoker. I was not able to get above 130-140F even inside my garage. The vent on the top rusted and the paint around the vent faded in less then 20 days (I only smoked for about 15hrs total). Luckily there is a 30 day return on this. I think for summer use this would be a great simple smoker, just don't plan on using in cooler temperatures.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
