Fantastic compact camera with amazing zoom
This camera is amazing. It has a powerful zoom and yet is compact so fits into my pocket or handbag and I can take it everywhere with me, no need to carry lots of different lenses. It has a lot of pre-set features for specific types of shot and has sound and video recording. And the viewfinder means I can always see exactly what I'm photographing even in strong sunshine when I can't see the image on the screen. This is a fantastic camera!

Average quality pocket camera better for distant wildlife pictures than my iphone SE.
I have said the image quality is not good, I need to qualify this. I bought the camera to have a handy pocket image taker that could zoom in a long way compared with my iphone and just cropping in on the image. It does better than the iphone, but not very sharp at the tight end of the lens. I realize that winter light is not good for telephoto work but I had hoped for better. It is not a substitute for a DSLR and good aperture telephoto lens, but there again, you can't fit a DSLR with tele lens in your pocket.

Brilliant Camera and so easy to use.
This camera has all the features of larger cameras, its easy to use, and it can be carried in a backpack without any problems. The double viewfinder is a bonus, and you can only find this sort of viewfinder on cameras costing a lot more money than i paid for this one. I would have no problems recommending this camera to anyone, whether they be a beginner, or not.

Value for money features
Great little camera with a huge focal length lens (approx 700mm) and great image quality. Plenty of easy to set options for the hobby photographer but with manual for the more technically minded. I also have a Canon D40 'semi professional' DSLR camera and I mostly now just work with the Panasonic. The focus system needs to be understood to get the best out of it. Video is fantastic and the ability to take stills whilst doing video is like using two cameras at once. Start up to ready speed is not too shabby either. Battery lasts a good while but I bought two spares and a stand alone charger, which is the only comment I would make about this kit. Charging in camera is OK until you have to charge up spare batteries and then keep them aside for the longer photo day. Very cold or very hot days reduce battery capacity considerably. Having said that the additional ones I bought were not expensive and I can have a battery on charge whilst shooting. Overall I would recommend this little camera for holidays and semi pro use. At the right price (not list!) it is great value.

Great little compact camera
I wanted a small compact camera to use when I did not want to take my chunkier mirrorless camera and lenses out. Following a lot of research I decided to buy the TZ70, despite there being newer models on the market. I don't need 4K video (1080 HD is good enough), nor some of the other bells and whistles the more expensive TZ models have. The reviews I read kept coming back to this model. It takes good pictures and video. With less pixels on the sensor, it performs better in lower light conditions. The 30x zoom takes you close to the action and the EVF is invaluable in sunny conditions. A great value compact camera which is still available new aswell as 2nd hand. My seller also included spare batteries and a charger.

In auto mode this is a very easy camera to use which gives great pictures. Dig deeper and you will find so many features and settings to help produce that wonderful picture.

Panasonic Lumix TZ70
Much better than the last incarnation (TZ60), the viewfinder alone is worth getting it for. I sold my 60 because of this. The drop in megapixels is a plus for me, as bigger pixels allow more light in. Great camera, ideal for travel, as it takes up very little space, easy to carry in a pocket etc. Capable of shooting RAW, but is somewhat restricted. Still worth 5 stars for me though.

Fantastic little camera.
Very good camera for the price , if you are not a professional. Easy to use if you know something about photography, easy to carry, very good range zoom, good optical lens, stabilisation, capability of RAW , not very big archive (5MB) . Compared with my Sony A73 ,better A73 , but with what cost, 2000 camera. 2000 lenses. This only cost me 150 refurbished. I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL.

Compact and lightweight, easy to use and stunning photos!
You can tell how good this camera is because we wanted to replace a Lumix TZ70 we lost by one of the same model. The 30x zoom, colour rendition and image stabilisation result in really stunning photos; I couldn't recommend this diminutive superzoom enough.

TZ70. A great little camera with surprisingly impressive features.
I'm really impressed with this little camera. I wanted a small camera I could carry in my pocket but which still produced good quality images. The TZ70 certainly fits the bill but what sets it apart is the fantastic 30x zoom lens. The images you can get when zoomed right out are truly amazing. Given the low price it really does represent excellent value for money. The only slight negative I can think of, is that it's small size sometimes causes you to touch buttons accidentally. As a pocket camera it would be hard to beat.
