I’ve had multiple brands of binoculars, even a vortex brand that cost more than double. I’m very picky about my hunting equipment. I feel these are the best value in binoculars available. Are they perfect, no. They are a little blurry around edges and in very dim light you can get better, but will then be in the $1,000 range. Don't work for me.
Can't get R diopter adjust ring to turn quite far enough to have both eyes in focus. Nothing too odd about my vision- didn't need glasses most of my life. Seems like a pretty serious limitation. Must have for hunters
I was torn between the diamondback and the viper HD. I went with the diamondback because of the $200 or so price difference. I'm sure the viper HD is better but it can't be $200 better. These diamondback's are great. If I have one complaint it would be the ondjective lens caps wants to come off. I'm afraid I'll lose these in the woods. But other than that you can't beat the binoculars. They're very clear and great in dusk and dawn hours. The viper HD might give you a few more minutes of use before or after daylight but again, it can't be much. Definitely not $200 better. If you're on a budget the diamondbacks is the way to go. And vortex warranty can't be beat. If you choose the diamondback or the viper you'll be very pleased.
