Worth the money
We live ib Arizona where there are no fleas or ticks but travel and stay in the midwest 3-4 months during the summer where the ticks are abundant. We had found several ticks on our pet after a short walk in the woods at a state park in Missouri so we asked our niece who’s a veterinarian what she would suggest. She turned us on to the Seresto collar. These really work. We put one on our dog about a week prior to leaving home for the summer. The longest we have had one on was five months. No fleas, no ticks. Chemical burns for some worked for others. Make sure to watch your pet constantly if you use this product.
I bought these for my cats and it gave 2 of them chemical burns around their neck. The others it was working great for but I decided to take them all off since it hurt 2 of them. I am now scared of the product. It may work for some animals but not for all. The warnings on the product does state this but you always hope for the best. best flea control products out there
I have the Seresto flea collar for both my dogs and cats. It is an excellent product that works. I had been using Frontline and other topical flea treatments. I struggled to keep fleas under control. Flea collar
I recommend it for most cats. I put it on a large cat that I have - no other topical would work and I had great luck with it. So I put it on the average size cat I have and she was an allergic cat and had sensitive skin. Within a week, I took her to the vet with sores around her neck. I had bought the collar at the vet's office. He refunded my money, gave me some steroid cream to put on her neck. The sores did clear up, and I now use a topical on her with no adverse reactions. Helpful for a cat
This collar worked for a full year on my indoor /outdoor cat. It makes him a little itchy sometimes, but only when it's freakishly humid and he's been playing outside all day. It also has to be pretty tight, which makes me nervous. It works great, though! Also, the one I received is only in French. No English anywhere on instructions or case. Google translate handled that for me, but otherwise I would have had no clue from the instructions, fyi.

Does not irritate cat's skin like the drops
Seresto collars last longer than 8 months, and are worth every cent. I had used a brand of drops before I found the Seresto collar. My cat would flinch and run each time I applied the Trifexis drops, until one day I found a bald patch and scab over where I had applied it. I felt so awful for unknowingly burning his skin. Disappointed that a good rated product didn't work for me!
Had one of these collars on our cat last year and it worked great. This year we have two cats which we put these collars on and had to take them off within 3 days because they were irritating both cats.Both cats were miserable and digging at the collars constantly. Does not work - Old /expired product?
I purchased this product because it was considerably less in price than the pet store. Big Mistake. I think that this product is old and expired because it has done nothing to help my cat. The one that was purchased from the pet store the first time worked within 1 day. It is now over 3 weeks and we are finding fleas - just as if she was not wearing a collar at all.
