High quality chair that barely reclines 2 inches. Stay away unless you like sitting straight up all day like a board.
The good: It is made of very high quality materials. The chair arms are chrome, which I didn't even notice in the picture. It looks beautiful (rather, it *looked* beautiful before I had to break off the head rest). It will easily hold 500lb or more. The cushioning is great. The height is great, it is tall enough so your legs aren't sprawled out like you are sitting at a kindergarten desk. The bad: This chair doesn't lean back far enough. Maybe it reclines a few inches, but it honestly isn't far enough to even be useful. There is a certain point that is reached when reclining a chair where you don't have to push anymore, as your body weight is now far enough back to hold the recline on its own. Well, you never reach that point with this chair, as it doesn't go back that far. You recline a couple of inches by intentionally pushing back... then you have to keep that force applied the whole time you sit in it. This isn't an issue of me not knowing how to adjust the lock or the tension knob under the seat. Making matters worse is the large head 'rest' that pushes your head, neck, and upper body too far forward. This is really disappointing, as it looked so comfy in the picture, and the sad thing is it would have been great if the blasted chair would just recline! As things are, sitting straight up like a board, it just pushes your upper body too far forward to be comfortable. I wish I hadn't bought this. The only way I have even made this thing usable is by breaking off the headrest, so now my upper body can lean backward another few inches, thus *almost* having enough weight far enough back to hold the recline. I also put a few washers under the front seat bolts to increase the incline by maybe an additional inch. This helps a little, but I'd still rather take a stick in the eye than buy another chair like this.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Don't waste your money and make the same mistake I did...
Chair is not very comfortable, base pad is flat after less than a month, head rest while adjustable sits at a very weird angle and is not comfortable at any adjustment when leaning back....Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
