wow. a masterpiece from amouage.
this one caught me off guard. i don’t like amouage scents pre 2019 as the old creative director produced bland scents that didn’t perform well in my opinion (except reflection man, i love that one).ever since the new creative director took over, they’ve produced smash hits in my opinion. overture man is no exception! it is a masterpiece. you’ll pick up cognac, sandalwood, and smoky notes with a little bit of an animalic notes. don’t let the animalic part scare you. it’s very subtle and in the background. this cologne is undoubtedly masculine and has excellent performance. projects heavily for the first 2-3 hours and then sits closer to the skin with excellent silage for the 8+ hour life of the scent. this is one of my favorite fragrances of all time. absolute masterclass in quality, scent, and performance. all i can say is wow.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
