This oil works well for me though the maximum discharge pressure for which it is recommended is only 125#/sq. in. for a single stage compressor. I have an older Sears/ Campbell-Hausfeld that runs to almost 150#/sq. in. Synthetic oils do NOT work for me as I have polycarbonate bowls in my system and synthetics do not go well w/ polycarbonate.
