Brought this for trip to Costa Rica
By far the best water integrated bottle filter ever! Was not sure what to expect although my research suggested the area I was going to be in in Costa Rica, the water was safe to drink but I was going to be travelling throughout Costa Rica and did not want to take a chance on finding drinkable water. I also did not want to rely on bottled water which can be expensive. This product performed as advertised and I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys hiking and outdoor activities where clean water is either not readily available or questionable. Practical filter
I have a couple of the regular Lifestraw water filters in my BOB, backpack, and glove compartment which need to be dipped into water to work; this one goes a step further, just fill with water and walk away, no need to lie prone on the ground to drink. It's also got a two-stage charcoal filter which improves taste. The small but robust carabiner is handy to keep attached to backpacks or hang somewhere. safe drinking water
The filter is as advertised. It is enclosed in the bottle and easy to draw the water. I am assuming it works to filter out the impurities that cause illness as advertised. It is light weight and seems to be durable. The only problem I have with it is that the water tastes of iodine.
