Better than expected
Maybe I got lucky, but this stock took very minimal sanding before it was ready for a finish. My restoration is now complete and the stock is gorgeous. Due to the nature of this product, your experience may vary. I'd say it's worth a shot compared to a new C stock at over twice the price.
