Quality hatchet.
I've had several of these axes and they hold up well and last a long time. It's probably one of the best of its kind available -- very tough. This particular one is only 12" long, but I was getting it for my step-daughter for her camping, some light chopping and driving tent stakes. Lifetime tool
I still have my Dad's Estwing hammer he bought in1955. All you need to do is sand and varnish the handle when the finish wears off. Never break a handle, because there isn't one, it is all drop forged, one piece. Take care of it and it should last at least three generations!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
