Over the years I slowly migrated to Michelin tires on all of my cars. The only rival I found was the Goodyear comfort tread.... Also an awesome car tire.
I am slowly changing all my bicycle tires to Michelin.. They cost 20% more but last 40% longer. They give a confidence feel around turns... Bicycle or car. The feel like soft rubber not like cardboard... Not boxy.
Michelin bicycle tires mount on the rim easily because of the markings on the side wall... Making them easy to center. For me...They have been consistently less problematic than other tires... Like Kenda, Bontrager or Contenental; which occasionally mount with a wobble.
In the end they are cheaper, faster, quicker and easier.
I have been buying bicycle tires for the past 30 years... Before that I just rode what ever was kind of on the bike or at Freddy's.
