Great for a hot tub
Very narrow diameter at top ring (under 6 ft. wide for an 8’x30”pool)and even though it’s made for outside use, the manufacturer warns about over inflating the top ring( heat can make the air expand and cause plastic to tear). and w/o a full top ring the water runs out. Serious pool
The pool is a quality product - I think the inflated ring used to maintain the integrity of the pool is a great design, much better than the more rigid sided pools of similar size - but it is not a "kiddy pool". We bought this on a bit of a whim while suffering through a heat wave. Make no mistake, this is a serious pool. It holds a substantial amount of water (600+ gallons) and is a fill-it-once and maintain it proposition. Make sure you understand what is required (covering, cleaning, filtration, chlorination, etc.) to maintain the pool once filled. Good value for the money
Figuring out how to assemble the pump was very hard to figure out...so it was quickly abandoned. The pool was a gift for my best friends children, so it is fine without it. It was disappointing though, because we have to change the water frequently. We use a tarp to cover it, and a net to remove fallen leaves. It serves the purpose and was better than other options. Clever design and easy setup
Great pool for summer fun. Level ground is key. Bought a pump separately but it hasn't arrived yet. Guessing that will help with some cloudiness that has happened from wearing sunscreen in the pool. Set up was super simple. Took about 4 hours to fill. I blew the outer ring up without a pump and it didn't take much time at all. The pool seems to be good (after 2 days of play), but the pump stopped working!!!
The pump stopped working after 2 days!!! I knew it wasn’t a high quality pump but I was hoping it would last at least a few weeks. Intex Customer service does not take calls:( the pool itself is good so far. We removed the grass in our yard on the place for the pool, put 10 50lb bags of sand and a tarp underneath the 8 ft pool. No Pump

Summer fun
Perfect size for our family size(2 adults 2 teens, we are loungers). Not to big, not to small. It arrived the next day so I was very surprised. Easy set up. The only negative was there where no rings to use around the hoses. So we had to buy those from the local hardware store. Other then that the old pump that we had from our last pool. I love this pool
It’s just the perfect size for hot summer submerging. It’s not really sturdy enough for kids to jump in and out (I’d think) since the blow-up ring is quite flexible and water easily flows out if bent. But four adults (very friendly) all sit in it like a cold hot-tub. The pump is a little undersized (I bought the larger version) but I love this pool. This is my second purchase.
