Nice product but needs instructions to share adjustments
This is a universal spring set and so it is designed to fit many different models. Some fittings are better than others. On my dishwasher the spring tension was not enough and the door still wanted to lower on its own. Not as bad as when I had a broken spring but not like it should. What I learned on my own (no instructions come with the spring set) is that you can twist the cable mount which will screw it further into the spring and increase the tension. Adding a little dish soap helped the process. Once I did that the door now operates properly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It works!
This kit is the correct replacement part for my Bosch SHE7ER55UC/50 and although it looks and attaches differently, it works as well as the original factory-installed part. I agree with the previous reviewer that detailed installation instructions would be helpful. In order to remove the original springs it is actually necessary to break the plastic tabs that attach those springs to the DW frame. That's OK because those tabs are no longer needed. Once this is done, the new springs are attached by sliding the steel tabs at the back end of these springs into slots (which were previously unused) provided for that purpose.
