BMW Standalone MS43 for the M54B30 3.0 engine. This engine computer is for the 3.0 liter M54B30 engine as used in the 330i 330ci 330ix e46 3 series and e39 5 series 530i and e53 x5 3.0. Note - if your car is having ews 🔑 issues and you still have the ews module under steering column, you may need to also bypass it in order for the car to crank if your key is dead.

The way to go
I have been dealing with ews dme problems for years and this is the best,plug and play dme already programmed it don't get no better. No more buying ews modules or aligning because you changed your battery or something stupid to cause interference. I recommend this product 100 percent. A very good deal for those not too worried about their car being stolen.
Pro: When I got it I installed it and the car started right up. I can't speak for longevity, but, from what I understand DME's rarely go bad and my old one got shorted out due to something unrelated to the DME. Being able to simply replace the DME instead of a new key and tumbler, EWS, and the pain in the ass of putting all of that in was pure joy for me. Con: If you're concerned with people stealing your car (as I am not) this may not be the way to go for you, as you will have deleted your EWS, but, where I live (just outside of DC) BMW's are as common as ticks and as nice as I think mine is, I hardly think anyone is interested in stealing my 2001 330ci (although, if they knew what I've done to it they might).Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Made my car start without the need for programming the new keys.
This EWS-bypassed ECU unit solved my issue and no longer need to program my BMW keys. One thing to mention is that you still need to remove your EWS and plug in an extra part that they send you which was not mentioned in the description.
