Lots of Boom for the Buck

Adding this Pyle 12 sub to my Jeep TJ was a great addition to my Kenwood Head unit with 4 Blaupunkts at the corners and Pyle directional tweets on the dash. Getting the right size box was a challenge in the back of a Jeep, however I am a builder and have the tools to achieve the goals and let the speaker Breathe. Would recommend to anyone not wanting to spend a lot for a great product.

Product is described as having a black steel basket but is instead showed up with type of black plastic basket, makes the speaker lightweight but I’m

Product is described as having a black steel basket but is instead showed up with type of black plastic basket, makes the speaker lightweight but I’m not sure how reliable the speaker will be over time should the plastic basket crack or get warm. I would have avoided this purchase had I known. The subwoofer works now but I have zero confidence in a product like this.

  • Thump

I Had these subs for a few weeks sound great have them as free air that means they are mounted on wood behind the seat not in a box , they have my car trembling and I never turned them fully up I have them on a 6000 watt amp but I have the amp turned way down 😆 lol seam to be good speakers.

  • Best Bang out there and I'm 47

I am 47 and haven't had Any kind of subwoofer speakers in 30years I heard these first from my neighbor who had 2 of them running inside off a av unit with a old RF amp. Sounded way better than the 2 powered subs I was using. My best friend said I was wasting my money on them because in No way could a 36$ DVC sub be ANY kind of useable. Well let me say he is dumbfounded by the sound quality of these speakers We tested them against 2 AudioPipe comparable speakers and they are as good or better. Now I can't say about longevity because I haven't had them long enough to see but so far no problems.

  • Better take it easy hoss

Hooked it up to an ssl 1500 watt rms 600 watt almost instantly smoked it better keep it under 300 watts rms for proper use its cheap so don't push it other than that not bad

  • Ignore negative reviews

These subwoofers slam in the right box with correct wattage. I have 2 Pyle square Red Label and 2 Pyle 12 circular subs in a box I built myself. All subwoofers fire downward and my port faces rear hatch in my 01 Blazer. Got them ran 2 ohm with 2 1500w rms amps. My system hands down is probably one of the loudest in my area and the sound quality is excellent. It’s all about how you set it up the box the vehicle and your amps. Wish I could do a video of the roof of my blazer doing the wave lol

  • Econo sound

Not very impressed for a dual voice coil sub running with 1200 watt punch monoblock but bass not strong enough previous sub sound much deeper an firm going back to my single voice coil blaupunkt sub

  • economical gear that performs under pressure

loaded in a custom application, with other components to create a full rang device. has maintained moderate power rating so for, will test with a higher power-rating next; running 4 ohms do not anticipate any issuers, Pyle has been a trusted source for my gear and always performs under load as well as on a professional level and is economical~! that matters~!placement is a hassle, you want to load it with quality components

  • Pyle. NO way.

I had Pyle 12"s in the day. These are a joke at best. DB13 456 watts rms CEA. Blown in 9 minutes. Amp turned down to less then half. They are 150, 200 rms at best. Garbage woofer. Not a pyle driver from the late 80's. I got it replaced with an audio acoustik 12. That's old school pyle these now hit hard as F#$k now. And. Only one!!!
