Multi-Purpose Rice Cooker
I have cooked several styles of rice with great success. Have also blended quinoa with the rice. The overhead steamer basket is perfect for cooking vegetables and certain meats (suggest you pan sear chicken, fish or beef before adding to the basket). I have been using organic vegetable broth instead of water which eliminates the need for any seasoning. Since I only cook for one, I use the cooker every other day. Those who are complaining about this rice cooker don't know how to cook rice or is overfilling it. You should only put 3-4 cups of rice to avoid spillage. Also the scorching doesn't happen to me. I make sure to put same amount of water as the rice... 3 to 4 ratio... such as 3 cups rice, 4 cups water. and of course, do not leave the rice cooker on warm for too long (such as overnight or ove 2 hours) otherwise it will scorch the rice at the bottom, common sense is all you need.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
