The ONLY 5 Gallon cans to buy!
These are the ONLY choice for quality 5 Gallon cans. I have had several of the Chinese copies and ended up destroying them all to make sure they would not be used again. I forgot and left a couple of full ones in the back of my truck on a hot day. They had expanded to the point where one of the "welded" seems split open and Gas was running out of the back of my truck! That could have gotten really expensive! DON"T SPEND MONEY ON THE CHINESE COPIES! These Wavian Cans do not expand as the are much thicker material and have much better craftsmanship. Perfect Storage for gasoline
Used the 5 gallon G.I. gas cans for years. Gas always oozed around the rolled bottom seam. These cans are generations beyond those old dinosaurs. Solid, with a reassuring heft. Great jerry cans
These Swiss jerry cans that I received are exceptional. They are brand new. No scratches or dings. Good paint job, no flaking or chips. All the cans released pressure when opened the first time, I was glad to see and hear that. The inside is coated evenly and with the same red/maroon paint as Wavian jerry cans. Every can I bought I filled and tested. Upside down, laying on their sides, no leaks or smell of gas whatsoever. Except these were much better priced. I bought 6 of the cans and will buy more. This is the real deal, a true, European manufactured NATO jerry can with all the quality you expect. I have purchased several real NATO jerry cans over the years from different sources and manufacturers and I can confirm the "Swiss Army" cans are the very same cans built to the same standards. They have the interior fuel safe liner and vent, the continuous welds and are made from 0.9mm steel. The cans were individually wrapped and nicely stacked in a protective cardboard box and arrived totally damage free. These were legit, VERY well made jerry cans, well worth the price (that I consider a bargain). They seal so tight, I am storing the cans in my house full of gas, and don't smell gas at all. Shook them up and inverted them several times to make sure the sta-bill was properly mixed with ZERO leaking. nice product , no more leaks
Got tired of the plastic fuel cans splitting open and now the manufacturer went bankrupt from too many lawsuits, so no one to complain to. Metal is by far the better choice , These NATO Swiss Army are the best of the metal . They seem a little pricey but what is your Butt worth when it comes to leaks and spillage . Like I said I have had the plastic split open right at the seam and dump gas all over in my truck bed . 5 gallions of gas makes for a really big road flare.
